During this course, my team and I represented &pizza, an artisanal pizza chain based out of Washington D.C. We competed against three other teams representing Blaze Pizza, Pie Five, and MOD Pizza, to win a restaurant location in the fictional town of "Pacechester." We researched the company and presented a Reputation Analysis followed by a Communication Plan, detailing how we would promote &pizza. During the five week simulation, we promoted our brand to the "Chamber of Commerce" following the POP model (Print - Online - Press) by creating video content, managing a Twitter account, and curating public relations materials: press kit, press release, trifold, magazine article, etc.) As the Communications Director, I delivered a press conference and sat down for a media interview. Finally, we presented our Evaluation to measure the success of our campaign. Ultimately, our team won the competition.
